USER MANUAL - ICO 16g CO2 Threaded Cartridges

 

Thank you for choosing our CO2 threaded cartridges for your inflation and beer dispensing needs. This user manual aims to provide simple instructions for safe and efficient usage.

 

Product Overview:

ICO CO2 threaded cartridges contain pure carbon dioxide gas and are TUV certified for quality assurance. This cartridge is designed for use in devices such as tire inflators, airguns, and other applications requiring compressed CO₂ gas. They are also suitable for beer dispensing with mini kegs and CO2 growlers. One-Time use ONLY and NOT Refillable.

 

Thread Specification:

The cartridges feature a thread specification of 3/8" - 24 TPI UNF, indicating a diameter of 3/8 inches and a thread pitch of 24 threads per inch in a Unified National Fine (UNF) standard. Please ensure compatibility with your device or system before use.

 

Instructions for Use: 

  1. Ensure compatibility: Confirm that the threaded cartridge fits your CO2 inflator device or beer dispensing system.
  2. Insert and secure: Remove any protective covering from the cartridge. Insert the threaded end into the device or system and twist clockwise until securely attached.
  3. For tire inflation: Follow the instructions provided with your inflator device to release the gas and inflate your tire.
  4. For beer dispensing with mini kegs or CO2 growlers: Connect the cartridge to the dispensing system, following the system's instructions. Adjust the gas flow as needed for desired carbonation levels.
  5. Protect hands: When releasing the contents of the cartridge, the cartridge itself gets extremely cold. It is important to protect your hands with either an insulator sleeve, a special glove, or a cartridge holder. Follow the instructions provided with your inflator device or your beer dispensing system.
  6. Disposal: Once empty, dispose of the cartridge properly according to local regulations. Our cartridges are made from recyclable steel. Please dispose of empty cartridges responsibly to reduce environmental impact.

1. Handling Instructions

  • Installation: Ensure the device you are using is designed for CO₂ cartridges. Follow the device’s instructions for installing the cartridge.
  • Usage: Only use as intended for inflating tires, powering airguns, or other designated purposes. Do not use for medical purposes or in devices not designed for CO₂ cartridges.
  • Precautions: Do not modify or attempt to refill the cartridge. Use only in well-ventilated areas.

2. Storage Instructions

  • Location: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Environment: Keep away from heat sources, flames, and hot surfaces.
  • Temperature: Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C (122°F).

3. First Aid Measures

  • Inhalation: If gas is inhaled, move to fresh air immediately and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Seek medical attention if symptoms persist.
  • Frostbite: If frostbite occurs due to contact with released gas, do not rub the affected area. Immerse the affected area in lukewarm water and seek medical attention.

4. Disposal Information

  • Used Cartridges: Dispose of used cartridges in accordance with local regulations. Do not throw in fire or crush.
